B Ordinary (1891)

Ordinary Kodaks were made in three sizes: A, B and C. This camera is the B model, taking 3,5 x 4 inch (8,7 x 10 cm) on a darkroom loaded film for 24 exposures. The $ 10 B Ordinary was introduced in 1891 and discontinued in 1895, during which time only 1900 were produced.
The B Ordinary is a simple camera, having a fixed focus lens, a shutter with one speed and a wheel with waterhouse stops that is best left untouched. It was especially designed for young people who wanted a larger picture than made by the A Ordinary.
